The recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has surged a demand for personal protective
equipment (PPE) which is vital to ensure the health and safety of the user. While PPE are
designed to protect users against health and safety risks, it is instrumental to ensure that
these equipments/ items meet regulatory standards and pass quality checks.
At Control Union, we provide PPE inspection to verify that the manufacturer produced quality equipment
which are compliant with health and safety requirements. The products are checked against a number of
parameters including quality and conformity to protect the wearer from health-related risks. PPE

Quantity determination:
We verify quantity in cartons on random basis as per AQL plus
verify total number of packages.
Marking, Labeling, and Packing:
We check packaging for protection against damage and
contamination and to ensure visible and proper marking and
labeling of items as per customer provided specifications.
Loading Supervision:
If nominated for loading supervision then we check that only the inspected/ approved packages are
loaded and that no damaged package is loaded. We also check the condition and cleanliness of
transport vehicle/ container and witness weighbridge weighment if needed. Photos will be included.
